Buzzable uses Stripe to process payments for paid events. After creating a Buzzable account, event creators who want to receive payouts must connect a Stripe account.
You can create paid events and begin selling tickets without connecting Stripe. Payments from attendees will continue to be collected, but you will not be able to withdraw your funds until your Stripe account has been set up.
Connecting Your Stripe Account
You can connect your Stripe account at any time by following the Connect Stripe prompts within the Buzzable wallet and completing the Stripe onboarding process.
During setup, Stripe will ask you to provide information needed to verify your identity and create your payout account.
Receiving Your Payouts
Once your Stripe account has been successfully connected, any funds collected from your paid events will become available for payout according to Stripe's payout schedule.
Until your Stripe account is connected:
- You can create paid events.
- You can sell paid tickets.
- Attendees can purchase tickets.
- Your event revenue will be held until your Stripe account is connected.
To avoid delays in receiving your payouts, Buzzable recommends connecting your Stripe account as soon as you begin hosting paid events.
